Old Man!!

Okay so this post is a little delayed, but oh well. So Brent turned the big 30 last friday. He handled it very gracefully. His parents took us to Texas Roadhouse where he had to sit on the birthday saddle (how embarrassing).

After that, on the way home, we decided to stop and see the christmas lights at willard bay. It was actually pretty fun. There was a wagon ride, hot cocoa, and Santa (wahoo, that saves me a trip to the mall). The kids really enjoyed it (although santa was wearing kind of a strange outfit).

So that was our Happy Birthday to Brent. We also went to the USU v. BYU game saturday. The game turned out to be doubly dissapointing, USU lost, and on the way home we stopped to eat dinner at Pei Wei, which I normally love, but made me incredibly sick that night and the next day. So that was our week in review. I'm now onto finishing my christmas shopping. Anyone have any good ideas for: a 2 year old boy, an older sister, and a father-in-law. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

4 year old girl - Hailey is getting a bike with a pink helmet, wall-E movie, some clothes, and some games (like hi ho cherrio, don't spill the beans, etc.)

2 year boy - Andrew is getting a bunch of matchbox cars with a matchbox racing set. a tool bench with tools, some clothes, and some little books. (for his birthday we are getting him a geotrax set)

FIL - ?? something that has to do with grilling??

Hmmmmmmmm I think you should give Caden a large cardboard box wrapped in cheap wrapping paper, he'll love it.

I think for your older sister you should ger her a Gift Certificate to a restaurant so she and her hubbby can have a grown-up date.

For the father in law, framed photo of your kids. Grandparents don't need or want much.

When all else fails I like the flying chickens that crow when you launch them. Who wouldn't love that gift?!?!?

That Santa looks a little creepy. Do Caden and Santa have the same smile? I love it!
